If he's a legit Top 15-20 player, he should.

Jam Sam and Judge can both play the 3 or 4 so they could be in the game at the same time. It will be interesting to see the lineups next year but you could have kelly, judge, and samuels on the floor at the same time. :ksu:

I think Judge and Samuals on the floor would be a bad thing. On the other hand I'm excited to see Sutton and Macgruder playing at the same time.

I would like to see Rodney playing the 3.  I don't like having a 3 on the court that can't shoot.

Yeah, I believe most of the time he should be at the Three behind Sutton. I just like to think if they are really pushing the tempo, it would be nice to have Clemente or Pullen, Macgruder, Sutton, Samuals or Judge, and Kelly out there at the same time. Use all the athletes we have, and just try to run the open court.

I wouldn't call it a good starting lineup, but could work with Wally at the three.  He could handle Henry at the position, so I think for small amounts of time it wouldn't suck if you had
1-Denis
2-Jake
3-Wally
4-Jamar
5-Curtis

Starting lineup should be somewhere around this

1-Denis
2-Jake
3-Dom
4-Luis (Frank will start him for some crapty loyalty reasons)
5-Kelly (or Luis)

By Conference I would say Wally takes the 4 and depending upon ability Curtis could lose his spot to Colon, if he didn't from the onset.

if wally doesnt start over luis i will drive my white angry ass up to manhattan, find frank, and proceed to repetidly kick him in the testicles. there is absolutly no reason this team's best player (maybe second to clemente) shouldn't start.

this team's best player (maybe second to clemente).

he'll be a freshman.  he's not beasley.  analysts say his best attribute is athleticism and "upside".

yeah...if he is the 17th best player in the country though, he is MUCH MUCH better than Colon. And if Frank doesn't realize it, then he needs to pull his head out of his ass.

he isn't.  he's considered to have the 17th most potential nba impact among hs seniors.

he isn't competing with colon for a spot.  colon's minutes have about as much impact on judge's as clemente's.

How will small teams give us fits??? I think we really match up well with them next year. It's the Pitman's and Aldrich's that scare me. :runaway:

Our guard depth is such that we cannot match up well with a Colorado type team that throws 4-5 guards at us and keep up pace.  Sure we have a good player at the 1 and 2 spots, but our bigger players will have to try to keep up with guards and it would be harder to do with our style of play since we don't want to feed the post in a half-court which would wear their guards thin with fouls.

That being said, Sutton could play the four against those styles of teams for a few minutes and give us a reprieve if needed.

Again, I said Co type team.  I'm more worried about a midmajor like Cleveland State than the buffs, but just that smallball idea.

Did we graduate some guards that I'm not aware of?

We are most likely losing Buchi, and Dpete is not coming.  I've heard Fred's name out there as wanting to leave as well.

That leaves
1-Clemente, Russell
2-Pullen, maybe Fred, Irving, McGruder

Not a lot of experienced depth past the starting spot.

Can we expect henriquez to get 5 to 10 minutes a game, I don't see anyway they're gonna red shirt him imo, but it would be nice so he could put on weight
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

I'm hoping that Jordan can get 5 minutes a game in behind Kelly and Colon. I'm probably gonna make some people laugh, but I think big Lou is going to do some very good things for us this year if he only has to play 10-15 minutes a game. If I'm Frank, I'd say "hey Lou, go club someone". I think he could just play rough and foul like crazy!
