So it sounds like the rousing majority is "yes" for we are to elite.  Just as I suspected.  Next step is beginning the transition to an elite conference.

exactly right.  even pissclams finally had to concede defeat and admit state eliteness.  the problem is how to shed the big 12.

if you think about it, a lot of schools are much less elite, but far more east coast and accish.  for example, you see a lot of recruits mention staying on the east coast when justifying choosing a villanova or a duke over state.  it will be challenge, but our new a.d. will have to try and trade in eliteness for east coastivity.  i just hope state hires someone up to the task.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Big ten gets a leg up in a lot of sports, would be helpful, could see every football game on tv.  Could see old balls V older balls every year.  Better road trips to good college towns, as opposed to ames and lubbock.  Theres some upside dude!

I like the east coast idea, that would put us at the media forefront.  I suggest some type of inland channel that runs from the Atlantic ocean across by Manhattan, then dumps back out to the south of Texas.  We just have to be careful about routing because we don't ku, MU, OU, or UT trying to ride our coat-tails like they do now.

The only other good option is to secede from the State of Kansas and become a city in the State of New York....Manhattan West.  That would open up tourism from other parts of our fair state of New York, and provide companies that want to be in the New York spotlight, but still have the benefits of being centrally-located an excellent option. Only downside is we'd probably have to get a hockey team so the ESPN crowd would want to visit more.

We should just move onto Maryland's campus.  It's not like Gary Williams is using it or anything.  What a wasted resource.

Yeah, I can see that.  Similar hoops coach recruiting style as well.

I don't know what word you were looking for but I'm pretty sure it wasn't dyslexic.  Also, this is an all sports and academics thread.
