looking ahead at this years schedule and ahead for the 4 after this guessing that the TBA's are filled w/ Missouri State UMass, & Tennessee Tech type teams, and the Miami's and Oregon's are filled w/ Louisiana and North Texas type teams i see....

09: 6-6 (crappy bowl  :woohoo:)

10 (first year on campus as studet  :woot:): 8-4 (not as crappy bowl  :beerchug:)

11: 9-3 (1st or 2nd in the Big XII N and a Holiday bowl or Cotton  :excited:)

12: 10-2 (1st in North, Big XII CCG Cotton or Fiesta  :dancin:)

13: 10-2 (1st in North, Big XII CCG Cotton or Fiesta 8-) )

IMO, spring game is coming up in less than a month so i'm very  :kstatriot: and drinking :koolaid: so i know...... :powertard:

I disagree. It's amazingly smooth.

I think 1 ccg in 5 years is optimistic. I expect at least 1 Holiday Bowl, and maybe a Cotton or something. But not in the next 2-3 years. I think we'll see more of the hard-working, fundamentally sound players, and less of this arm tackle failure crap. Hopefully some good pressure from the Dline in the next couple years, especially if Josh Moore keeps playing like a future NFL corner. The offense should see some success running the ball, but the QB situation is making me cringe.

Going from a Division 2 coaching staff to a BCS coaching staff- I bet there is a huge improvement in the upcoming season, bowl game and a win against ku I hope- snyder teams play defense and koening is one of the best DCs around.

Agreed.

However, I suspect this year and next will be similar in wins/losses as Ron's first two years.

The players that we have are not as good at football as the players at ku, Mizzou, NU, CU, OU, OSU, Tech, aTm, UT, and BU.  However, our coach has the ability to out-coach NU, CU, aTm, and Bu.  So, may even out a little bit.  Until we can close the gap on talent between us and Baylor, for example, we'll be in really bad shape.

Plus, we are currently scheduled to play a TON of non-con games over the next decade against teams that annually have twice the talent we have (Bill should take his shirt off and fight Tim Weiser and Bob Krause for ass-&@#%ing us so egregiously).

Basically, Bill is here to save his life's work from the what was on track to be certain destruction.  Bill knows this, and he knows that we know this.  I am not going to be too hard on him....he had a good run.
