lay the 5. here's why.
first off, not that it matters a whole lot, but we haven't won at okla st since 1993 and most of the time its not even close. as for this season, the real problem here is when we face an athletic team that has a very high offensive effeciency like oklahoma, baylor, ukansas, and mizzou, we have lost and usually lost badly. thats because we do not have good talent outside of our guards. our big men are slow and unathletic role players and while we generally play good defense overall, in games like this we are exposed because the other team is so quick and they draw a lot of fouls down low on us or are able to penetrate and kick out for wide open 3's. okla st is amongst the top 20 in off. efficiency (points scored per 100 possessions).
okla st is extrodinarily good at home and has only lost to highly ranked mu (by 2 pts) and ou and has put up 80+ in nearly every game. okla st has a lot better talent than K-State, they have 2 mcd's all americans (eaton/anderson). travis ford just hasn't been able to get this team to play much defense but overall ford has gotten this team to play better as the season has progressed, all the way to the ncaa bubble when no one thought it was possible coming into conf play.
