Whats gonna be different from the OSU game and the Mizzou game? I believed we had a real shot at Mizzou, I knew it would be tough, but I believed it would be close.  Apparently, the team thought they'd be in with a Mizzou win as well.  So what explains the horrendous showing?  I want the NCAA as bad as anyone, but I am tempering my excitement level until they win at OSU.  Why get all pumped up now and then have to break something Tuesday night if they lose?

I am though excited to be in the discussion for the NCAA instead of hoping to win out and have a chance at the NIT.

Some hope...

OSU doesn't play near the defense that Missouri does.  MU forces more TOs than almost any people in the country, OSU is average.  MU is a solid offensive rebounding team; while OSU isn't in the NU/ISU/Tech category, they are still an aweful offensive rebounding team ranking at #305 in the country.  Also, OSU has already lost games at home, although those were to OU and MU.  I do think it will be a difficult win for us, but I doubt OSU is able to run away with the game like MU did in Columbia.

scary offense.  anderson's stats to reputation ratio is ridiculous.

keys are:  make them shoot 2s, don't foul (so basically when eaton goes inside, force him to put up a shot, not pass out to an open 3 or put him on the line), 10+ rebound margin.

"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!
