The point is that scoring twenty points a game does you no good if you can't even make a bowl game.  You might as well score less than ten.  If you don't make a bowl game, you suck.  What's the difference between sucking and scoring twenty points per game and sucking and scoring less than ten points per game?

I agree, the W's are all that matter.

But, he won the big 12 in that period. I'll take two years w/o bowls if you win the big 12 in a four year period.

And go 10-1 vs your big 3 rivals (NU,ku,MU)
