OJ Mayo Transfers to West Virginia HS
submitted by Jkloster23 28 days ago (August 31, 2006) (from http://thebiglead.com/
After three years in Ohio, Mayo the top ranked 8th grader in the nation back in 2002 will finish his high school career at Huntington in West Virginia. It's unclear if the transfer will affect where Mayo decides to go to school next fall, but below are the 'Big Lead's' list of colleges where OJ could wind up.

"That all-important list includes: Southern Cal, Florida, West Virginia, Marshall, North Carolina, and Connecticut. He threw in Kansas State for good measure, but later admitted it wasn?t one of his top choices."

Yeah, just come across the article. I realized it was dated. Frankly it surprised me a little. How about a lot. I  actually thought Mayo was going to really consider KSU. Wondering what others thought about this. :bs: :bs: :bs:

You can't be racist and like basketball.
From August 30:

Quote
Mayo said yesterday that he had not committed to Southern Cal, as had been reported. Southern Cal was “first on my list,” followed by Florida, West Virginia, Marshall, North Carolina, Connecticut and Kansas State, he said, according to the Enquirer website.

I don't believe anything I hear unless it comes out of OJ's mouth...and even then, I question it a little.

not a package deal

With Walker, he's ours.

Hate to break the news to you, but OJ Mayo is not coming to KSU with our without Bill Walker.  I was told by someone I trust (very recently) to forget about OJ Mayo.... not going to happen.

Actually, I knew David Dixon when he was in hutch playing football.  He is one of the most amazing athletes I've ever seen in my life.
