Anyone who thinks women can't play basketball obviously hasn't been to any women's games recently.  The women's game has risen incredibly in the last 10 years, not just at KSU, but all across the nation.  Personally I respect any student athlete, they work their tails off, have hardly any social life at all, and are constantly being put under the microscope by fans and the media.  Quite frankly it pisses me off when people knock our women's team.

Why do you respect people for having no social life?
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

The problem with the women's team isn't the players...its the head coach.  How many assitant coaches has she run off?  How many players??

3 former players just came back and were hired by Patterson as assistant coaches this year.

We just won 24 games last year and have won at least 23 games 5 years in a row.

Her next win this year will be #200.

She got the 2 best players in the state of Kansas (Sweat and Kincaid)to commit to K-State for 2006......and she's now in line to grab Gary Spani's daughter.....and she has a great shot at landing a 6'2" post player from Texas averaging a double double, and already has a 2008 verbal from a standout player from Florida.

Yah.........Patterson is the problem. :jerkoff:

Do you still contend that HCDP isn't the problem?  What is your response to the interview with the KSU women's all-time leading scorer and rebounder?  Probably just a bunch of lies huh??  Kendra's probably just angry she didn't get enough playing time??......Yah right!  :jerkoff:

I don't deny the fact that HCDP can bring in decent talent, but what does she do with them once she has them here??

AndKSUCat04....you've had season tickets to the women's BB team for HOW long?

That's what I thought. Your input means nothing.
