Gottlieb is scheduled to work the Texas A&M at Nebraska game on Feb. 24. Could his comments cost him that assignment?

"It could happen," he said. "That's totally out of my power.

"The niche that I have carved out is that I'm not afraid of the ramifications of what I say in good taste. If that means I lose the Texas A&M-Nebraska game, so be it."

Love how Gottlieb  :jerkoff: aTM-Nebrasketball.

I found this because I was searching for the video from yesterday's espnu big 12 show's feature on Doc.  Had him running a practice.  Virtually no squatting.

Don't believe you.  I guess if Doc hats Gottlieb I'll have to hate Gottlieb.  It's like a divorce of couple friends that you hang with.  You have to pick the better one and choose sides early.  If you think you are going to continue to hang out with both of them for long you are sorely mistaken.

I read that article.  I've hated Gotleebe for awhile.  He's an asshole and think that that compensates for being wrong a lot.  I think saying a kid is being a punk when no foul was even called in a loose ball situation is pretty low, but unsurprising for Gohtliebe.  I'm more surprised he didn't stand up and boo the kid and throw his bottle of diet mineral water at him.

He's pretty much a ku/Self knob swallower. Still, he should keep it in check when calling games.
Remeber two things from last year. His of spreading the Cal coaching staffs -- of which his brother was a member -- whining about the calls in the K-State game. And saying ku got screwed in the first half of the game in Manhattan.

And I just don't like his personality.

qft. he's a complete douche.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Loose ball situation and Cookie was kind of flailing and still fighting for it a bit after the whistle.  Gotleebs said something along the lines of he's acting like a punk and should just give it up.  Ball was call a jump ball.

I guess it's all about prspective.  I don't really consider a kid a punk because he got a little carried away in the heat of the moment in a close basketball game.  What I think classifies as being a punk is more along the lines of stealing credit cards and throwing away a scholarship to Notre Dame in the process.  That's the kind of stuff that punks do.
Welcome back, Bill.

Lu punching a guy in the head, Mario Boogan headbutting Cartier, and that doushey osu gaurd changing his shorts in front of people are the only times that come to mind where the word punk fits, but even then, why say it?  You're just making yourself into an asshole.

OK we must have crossed the fine line between sarcasm and stupidity in this thread, because you all can't be serious.

Doc:  Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
