i don't see the guards losing any faith in the post.  at least not in the # of attempts to get the ball into the posts.  if anything i see more of an attempt to get the ball inside as the season has been moving along.

Being forced by your coach to throw it to the post under fear of being pulled out of the game, and having confidence in the guys down there are much different things.   

When the guards think they have the choice, they would rather skip throwing an entry pass.

are you just assuming they don't have confidence in the bigs?   or do you have actual inside info? 

and what makes you think they had any confidence in the bigs at the start of the season?
