When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

i don't see the guards losing any faith in the post.  at least not in the # of attempts to get the ball into the posts.  if anything i see more of an attempt to get the ball inside as the season has been moving along.

didn't see the article, but good job by mcmw in pointing out how wrong it was.  they fed colon till the little bastard spit up.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Being forced by your coach to throw it to the post under fear of being pulled out of the game, and having confidence in the guys down there are much different things.

When the guards think they have the choice, they would rather skip throwing an entry pass.

this is exactly why blaming "x's and o's" is dumb. when you have bad players, it doesn't matter what you call up. nothing is going to work.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

that's the truth, basically same thing as saying that I'd rather drink a strawberry milkshake even though there's good chance that hammerhead sharks are off the coast of australia.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

are you just assuming they don't have confidence in the bigs?   or do you have actual inside info?

and what makes you think they had any confidence in the bigs at the start of the season?
