Why do we always freak out starting games, particularly in Low Rents?  I mean its like were not ready to go,  oh hey whats up?  Is the game about to start?  Let me get a quick stretch in and we'll get goin.  WTF?

This team needs ran in to the ground to get the message, me thinks.

Wow, some talent problems are glaring on this team......
"When Beasley dunked in the second half to make it a 12-point game, that was the loudest moment I’ve ever experienced at a college hoops game - Allen Fieldhouse included.”

- Ryan Greene, kuSports.com editor commenting on Bramlage Coliseum.

Well, it can't get much worse.  Maybe we're trying to lull them to sleep. :dunno:

We need an offense, period. End of story. Step one.

If we can't run transistoon with the ball, we never get a half decent shot out of our half court sets

    Hey, basketball!!!

So does Ron Prince. But that's just the defensive side...

Problem in basketball is every player is a defensive player.

Team is startin to show a little fight.  BUt I'm tired of always being the team that buries themselves and then claws their way back into to it to make it respectable?

ku won the first 6 minutes, ksu the 2nd 14.  we'll see how the 2nd half splits go, but i'm optimistic.  we should go 2-2 or even 3-2 this game, which is pretty good for a road game.

A pretty remarkable comeback really.  Even if we lose, you have to laugh at the "greatest environment in college basketball" allowing a mediocre team to make a game of it after being down 18-0.

A mediocre team let another mediocre team come back.

But carry on with your moral victory.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

I remember the KSU women getting down 0-17 vs Texas in the 2005 Big 12 Tournament and then coming back to win the game.  But I wasn't quite that optimistic tonight.  Pulling within 3 was really cool, though.  Like tying OU in football for a split second.
