Was looking over the program last night and noticed that we played them twice in 1993.  11/27/93, USM 74-60 over KSU in Manhattan, and 12/30/93 KSU over USM 84-78 in Hattiesberg.  Checked the media guide and it read the same thing. Anyone recall why?

    Powertard Un-approved
The second one was scheduled and the first one was in a preseason tourney most likely.

Come on d00ds!

I thought you all knew your KSU hoops history, b/c if you did you'd know we did the same in 88 and S. Miss swept one of the best K-State teams of all-time.  No idea why we have/had a history of doing home/homes with the Eagles though.  Anyway, now you know... sort of.

Think I was at the game in 88, it was at Kemper yes?  Who was that wide body they had down low, Witherspoon maybe?  Dang I'm getting old and can't remember crap.   :cyclist:

yes, witherspoon.  good memory.

I was at the 88 game in Ahearn and the Southern Miss game we lost like in triple overtime. It pissed me off more than the ku loss at home that year because I thought we were better than them.

OT: but i absolutely hate it when KSU fans brag about ksu bball before 1996. Who cares! I don't! get out of here! ahearn is sh*t!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Doc Weeper said he wouldn't have built Bramlage, but by the time he got to KSU, that ship had already sailed.

Just knowing that warms me up to him a little.
