"This is a tough one to swallow,” ISU head coach Greg McDermott said. “We made some plays that weren’t very smart, and at times we made some good plays on both ends of the floor. Down the stretch, we played too passively on the defensive end of the floor."

Suprisingly non-SLTH comments.  No "they are an excellent team", "kids did things the right way", "just a missed free throw away from victory", etc.  NOT FOOLING ANYONE McFatNeck!

It's like he reads this board and has switched playbooks.  Landing Colvin and then ditching his SLTH comments =  :ohno:

What the hell happened to this guy?  I was actually a little jealous of this hire.
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

Why?  I would have walked into oncoming traffic is we hired him.

The fact is they got beat by a team known as the Rainbow Warriors. Not a bad loss at all, IMO, considering they won the national championship last year. Wait, what?  :ku:
"Unless you're a ku fan you don't want to watch a game at the fieldhouse. You'll never see more home cooking in your life. The last game I watched there Larry got the boot and I didn't blame him a bit. Only ball game I've ever walked out on in my life, besides, the facility is a piece of ****."

slths have a few games each year that "embarrass", "disgust", or "disappoint" them.  usually, they had hoped the team/program was "farther along", but they know that long-term success is just a matter of "getting better every day".

"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

    The very best.
sys, explain. take the...04-05 year. what was the "hawaii" loss that year?

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
