I'm probably among his most loyal detractors but he actually looks like he belongs out there this year.  He'll be fine this year ... just as long as he doesn't start thinking he's a superstar (or 3-point shooter) or anything.

What big men has Kent gone up against?

let's consider competition plz.


but I like Kent fwiw....just waiting for him to be humbled when conference play begins and the Big XII rolls out their gigantic centers.

Who are all these gigantic centers in the big 12?  I don't think he'll be throwing up double doubles in the big 12 but he'll be fine.  He played a lot of minutes last year when there was much better bigs in the league.  He's gotten better and the competition has gotten worse he'll be fine.  I wouldn't take him as a recruit now for the next four years but for this team with what we have this year he'll serve us well and then step aside for more talented guys like Wally Judge and Curtis Kelly.

it's not gigantic centers, it's anybody.  i would probably guess the entire south division (yes, even tech) then ku and mu in the north, are going to punish our "bigs".
