    Hey, basketball!!!
Are the refs that blind to not see all of the holding that OU was doing along the line?

Not like it would've determined the game or anything, but a lot of the holding went on during big plays for OU.

Plus it's just annoying when holding is not called when it is right in front of the freakin' zebra who's job is to watch for it!! :curse:

Our dline seemed to have been instructed to lock on to the closest olineman they could find. I didn't see a whole lot of attempt to shed blocks by our dlineman (or linebackers) so the refs probably thought "Meh, who cares."

Watch OU's first offensive play. Calvin looked great shedding his block and making the tackle on Murray for no gain!!!

Progress!!! :ksu:

There was also a block in the back on the punt return for a TD.

That's true, Harold only had one arm flailing on every play, hell of a player.

I'm talking about the plain as day holding in the backfield that isn't called.

The ones where one of our defensive linemen get into the backfield (rarely happenes but did 3 to 5 times in yesterday's game) and while about to put pressure on bradford, get grabbed or blocked in the back.

Very noticeable holding in the backfield that should've definitely be called.

No there wasn't.  It was a very cleanly blocked return.

Every play our stupid LFBIQ fans would cry holding

While I wouldn't say it happened every play -

I saw at least seven instances where either Campbell or Harold were being held (or plain just tackled from behind) so badly that after the play, Prince got in the ear of the ref closest to him.

At the end of the half, Prince walked out to mid-field to bark at the official that was standing right in front of a blatant...and I mean blatant hold and he stuck his whistle in his pocket.

Did you happen to catch the sarcastic cheers from the entire stadium when they finally did call holding in the 4th quarter?

If you get a chance to watc it again, there was a subtle push in the back on one of our gunners while the ball was in the air just ahead of when the OU guy caught the ball.

Watched it multiple times.  I'll bet most people don't even know how to define a block in the back or what to watch for.  You have to see the entirety of the play.  Just because someone, at the moment you see it, is blocking in the back doesn't mean it's a foul.  There are many reasons why...that return was a clean play.

once i noticed holding was not going to be called on ou i noticed our o line holding numerous times as well.  it was an evenly officiated game in which holding was not a priority of the officiating crew.
