I would just like to see an attempt by Jayhox. Just a small one.

When they gave up 600+ to OU it should have given them a fracking clue.

Oh and Reesing going 3-4 to TTech to start the 3rd quarter was hilarious.

btw...we suck too.

    The very best.
I seriously thought ku would go 9-3/10-2 this year. LOL.

ku, I've seen DoD. You have no DoD.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

9-3 might have been possible with a win over South Florida.  Now, 7-5 looks like the best-case scenario.

Also, no one from ku claimed "DoD."  '08 was a hell of a year.  This football team has its flaws, but it's far from horrible.  Expectations were obviously too high, but for a program that's used to being garbage, this season has been an improvement in the grand scheme of things.  The top 25 was fun while it lasted.

May have never claimed it, but secretly thought it was possible. I was a bit worried, I mean you returned 17 starters from a 12-1 team.

Anyway, makes you appreciate DoD even more. Incredible.

I've always been envious of "DoD."  Never expected last year's 12-1 miracle season.  If it wasn't for last season, Mangino's toast and ku football is starting over from scratch once again.  Just hope we can get bowl eligible for the first time in school history (pathetic, by the way).

This is essentially the same team that went 12-1 last year.

so, what has changed?

Couldn't be the level of competition could it?

You would just love to have A&M and Baylor this year would'nt you.

I wouldn't say that. They did lose the best DB in the big XII ,and probably the best DT in Big XII. Their offense has been fairly effective compared to last years numbers. It's wasn't like they were pounding the A&M's and Baylors of the world. They did put up some numbers against okie st, and of course Neb. I think a tougher schd is taking a toll, however they were in the OU gm until 12min left. Tech just spanked them yesterday, but I have ZERO coonfindence that we can go in there and win next week. With that being said The Ron Prince express needs to be derailed once and for all. Just my 2 cents. :banghead:

I'd say the Hawks are staring at bowl in-eligibility if it weren't for that second half against ISU.

BTW, those 2 people looked proud of their investment in loge seating in between Stoner's 'basketball season' blasts
