The only good thing about it is if we do tank all season,  no one will be surprised.

I liked it better back when people were surprised we lost to Top 10 teams. You know, like when we were #2 and lost to OU at home and people were surprised.

It would be nice if we could have an impressive win over Il State.  Not only for our program but to give the North a little shot of much needed credability.  ISU got owned by a 2nd tier mac team and ISU was supposed to be one of the better teams in the North.

However, I heard one of the gopowercat.com editors on the radio and he said he wouldn't be surprised if we lost our opener.

There will be absolutely no excuse if we lose tomorrow to a I-AA team.  If that happens, the burden officially shifts to Prince to prove that he has any clue what he's doing.

I like Olive Garden, it's great!
:jerkoff: :jerkoff: :jerkoff:

Say what you want about Olive Garden (delicious), but the only good thing at El Arroyo is the margaritas. The food blows.

You can't be racist and like basketball.

We were on his "favorite destination" list at one point.  He said something to the effect of, "can't the airport be closer to Aggieville."

*sigh*

I think this game will be close. Ill may be div.II but they will have more continuity and perhaps confidense and rightly so. KSU has a million questions at this point and no real answers. This is a game we really need to prevail in for a plethra of reasons. Could go either way. But my vote ends with KSU winning !

PS: If KSU keeps composure when adversity strikes? I'll be very encouraged. Win or lose I want to see how they respond to adversity. :beerchug:

Just a couple of thoughts... 1.  Herbstreit's a man not a football god, he's got an opinion just like everybody else but putting too much stock in what he says is kind of like putting stock in what Goldie says about the Squaks.  2.  Gibleis, great freaking avater!

Yeah.  Back when the Cats were on TV more then a couple times during the season, and that was because the team they were playing was in the National Championship hunt.  You know your season is looking like a bust when ku gets more coverage by the National Media than KSU.  You know it's bad when Rutgers vs NC get air time over KSU.  The only "up-to-date" coverage, on-line, yesterday was through Yahoo sports. That's it.  And barely beating a Div I-AA team, AT HOME, mainly because said  D I-AA team went for two, instead of the tie and OT, doesn't bode well on this season.  I think the only "new" tradtion Prince is bringing to this team, is being the first KSU team, in the Big XII era, to go winless in conference play.  Nice tradition.
