Carney - meh
Chandler - meh
Erker - throwup in my mouth

Are there any more?

Ced was a pretty good S at GCCC a guess.  A guy I talked to that played there couldn't believe we were going to try to make him a WR.

    The very best.
meh, with bad depth. i'd be nice to have a legit playmaker @ safety
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Carney wasn't bad last year.  Chandler is decent.  We've got a little depth.  Marcus Watts and Andrew Erker won't be playing.

Probably the best safeties we've had in a long while.

there was this one recruit we got (I think he was in last year's class) that was a really, really good safety in HS (like, he played in the all star game at safety), but our coaching staff made him a WR.  Can't remember his name though.  I think his name was Tamark or something like that.  Prob need to check the roster before I post, huh?

Your best athletes belong on offense. Always.

Put the ball in their hands and ride them.

Chandler was the Defensive Newcomer of the Year in the Big 12 and Carney lead the team in interceptions.  So probably good frontline, but poor depth.

erker is terrible. PW, i know you have HD of the CU game. Watch erker in that game.  :yuck:

Chandler can be a playmaker, yes. Kind of plays dumb.

He played much more in 2006 than 2007.

Let's hope the trend continues.

He'll get a good reception on Senior Day.

Some dude on gopowercat will say he had a "really nice career".

    Hey, basketball!!!
Only three that really matter. Herndon, Chandler, & Carney.

And there should've been four with Dold if it wasn't for leon. :curse:

But I agree, we need a william moore type of safety.

on paper our safeties look pretty damn good. they will look bad at times due to the lack of pressure on the QB.
It's not how you play it's the final score...

PW, no love for Tigner?

Tigner moved to OLB kind of outgrew safety and couldn't cover well enough.  Chandler and Carney are pretty solid but they'll have to stay healthy.   I like Herndon ok he's physical but is on the slow side.   We don't have any young safety's on the roster at all we're going to need to start recruiting some.  I thought Dold was going to play safety but I guess he's like our best RB now which is kind of sad.   One guy I think will make the move to safety at some point is Tyson Hartman.  He's smart, athletic and has nice size he'll make a good safety and I don't see him as the starting QB in this system.

Herndon!  Hardest hitter on the team.
Recruiting is just a big tease.

That aint no crap, and thankfully that pussy Watts is gone too.

Seriously if you cant play with a broken hip, then find a new sport.
