Eric Pinellas, one of Bubba's high school coaches, provided the following update via e-mail:
"Spoke with his mother, and it's a Clearinghouse issue. Bubba went to an Alternative Education school his 10th grade year, and the Clearinghouse wants a separate transcript from them. The problem is our school district doesn't split up transcripts. They put them all together on one report as long as all schools attended are in the county, which was his case. Add to that Clearinghouse hadn't received his test scores, and both the ACT and SAT offices said they sent them."
As of last night, there was no change in Brown's status with the team, according to sports information director Kenny Lannou.
