fellas, i'm at the end of my rope...

i have been trying to create a new resume for like the past infinity minutes. the problem is that i do not have my first string computer/operating system, so i am on like windows beta and all the resume templates look like they were made by 4 year olds that were raised by ku grads.

so i have come to my last hope... if there is anything anybody can do please let me know. i was thinking somebody could just send me a template over email or something. or if somebody has any suggestions let me know.

I made mine on MSWord (ghetto fab).  I don't know if word has enough letters to fit in all your extra curic. activities and good deeds and whatnot but I can shoot you a copy of mine when I get home tonight.  It looks pretty good for me never having done anything of substance in my life.

i am a little worried about using office cause i was told by a friend it needed to look like i knew how to use a computer.

thanx for all the support. i finally was able to do something that didn't look like it was made by a fax machine. it did give me an idea though. it would be hillarious to see everyones message board resume.

Who the hell uses paper resumes anymore?  We won't even accept it unless its in an electronic format.

^ yeah just make sure that you didn't do it all on your pothead slacker buddy's computer.  you know, the one that he licensed office on as "Dirty Sanchez".  that could kind of kill it for you.

advice;  convert it into a .pdf before you send it.  Otherwise, fonts/margins will be substituted/skewed based off of the persons computer that's looking at your resume and it will &@#% it all up.  Actually stay away from fancy fonts all together.

It could look great on your computer, but it'll look like a WSU grad made it from theirs.
