    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

At least he'll always have: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=273292520

His Maybank ku game if you will.
"Kids used to hit him and stab him with pencils," says Harley Bennett, Jason's father. "Finally I told him he had to stick up for himself. Jason is not a violent person. One day he hit one of the kids back and got suspended."

He's the other type of "one and done" athlete KSU excels at attracting

2005/06 - Mario Taybron
2006/07 - Jermaine Maybank
2007/08 - Andre Gilbert

To be fair, Maybank was a grad student.

My favorite Andre moment was the end of the Oregon game when we were down three with time running down and he took it to the basket.  Beasley just looked at him shook his head and pointed to the scoreboard.

And yet, it is players like Beasley and Walker that are labeled as "lazy" and "Dumb"

Hilarious.

Universal rule, the better players are usually the smarter players.

Stewart, Young, Gilbert, Kent were by far our dumbest players.

My favorite was when he punched that kid like three minutes after chatting it up with J-Mart

Also, crappy boring APR question:  Is the 2.6 rule only for transfers or does it apply if someone just doesn't play/go to school at all next season?  Because, Gilbert will probably not play at all next year...right?

excellent question.  i'm sure the answer is nowhere to be found in the ncaa info.

i'm pretty sure it would apply if he plays pro - anywhere at any level.  or if he attends school, anywhere whether he plays or not.  if he gets a job  or whatever, i have no idea.

it would be great to have him above a 2.6, but if not, no big deal.  walker and beasley presumably are above a 2.6, so a single reg. transfer would be fine.  the key is just that he's in good academic standing.

he's not a retard, so he should be good unless he decided to fail classes to revenge himself on the coaching staff.

"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

He'll go d2 won't he?  I don't know why he wouldn't.  I'm sure the gilbert transfer won't hurt the APR...much.
