He had surgery on both shoulders, so he's got that going for him.  Brian Bosworth was amazing after his shoulder surgeries.  Here's a nice article on him.

Probably wants to play d-1a ball which you can't blame him for that.  Also if he's banged up sitting out a  year might not be such a bad thing for him.  KSU would have much better rehab staff and facilities then a d-1aa school would have.  If he goes 1aa plays hurt and doesnt' dominate then that hurts his draft status.

intriguing.  is it a (d)² x d, a d x d², or the motherload, a (d x d)², or does "of" not even act as a multiplier (hopefully not, that would really make the equation difficult to predict).

i think i'm hoping for the middle option, a century of ultradominance would probably kill the bball program for good.
