Beasley also led the Wildcats to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1996 and their first tourney win since 1988.

I think Mike deserved POY, but Rivals voting him POY is kinda self-serving.  They picked Mike as the the #1 ranked member of the 2007 class, when others did not.  It makes them look pretty good to have him as POY.

At one point Mike wasn't even listed on the crapioka ESPN 150 or w/e

Then when they added him they put him at an embarrassingly low 6th or something
