Last night driving home I remembered/started thinking the 2A state tournament that will be in the OOD for the next 4 days.  This next week will be huge for out tournament chances and for 3 days of practice we have to schedule around all of the chaos and mess of setting up, etc for the state tourney when our guys should be dialed in and focused on ISU.

I sincerely hope that this is the last time that our players have to deal with this.   Maybe it is not a big deal, but it does seem a little bush league to me.  (And yes, I know it happens every year, but few years in recent time have meant as much as this one does).

The 2A state tournament needs to be moved.  This year.  Period.
Welcome back, Bill.

How much would setup actually affect anything that goes up on the court? Most of the setup will be going on the concourse.  If there's anything going on, it'll probably be scheduled while the team isn't practicing or is watching film, weightlifting, etc.

Not an issue.

That is what I am not sure about... I know they used to drop the big black curtains on the ends to make it seem smaller,  not sure what else is don., There in general will probably be a lot of extra activity around the basketball offices - etc.  I would just expect that it is an un-necessary distraction.    What do the state teams use for locker rooms?  I guess I have never been in the nether regions of the OOD.

I also do not know when the team practices or shoots around normally, but scheduling the men and women in and saying the whole place shuts down at 2:00 in the afternoon for the day must be a annoyance to say the least.
