whenever pullen is leading the break, he looks for beasley and beasley only.  and about 95% of the time it results in a dunk or lay-up.  pullen is the only player we have that i feel comfortable leading a fast break.  i just know something good will happen whenever he takes off with the ball in transition

im just not confident with anyone else.  stew occasionally makes bad decisions and isn't quick enough...blake usually just takes it baseline and tries to jump over the world...gilbert thinks it's 'His' time to shine and usually screws up...brown can't make a lay-up to save his life...and merriewether, well, i dont really have to say anything else.
pullen to beasley...thats what i love...and thats whats successful.  shake 'n bake :beerchug:

Yeah, Pullen is becoming a very dynamic player at the PG spot.  He's gotten more consistent.  He's going to be fun to watch for the next few years.  I'm glad Frank rides him, he seems to respond to it pretty well.

thanks blackman-era.

pullen's ability to take the yelling and screaming from frank is just another reason why he's a great pg.  he doesn't let mistakes effect his game, and he really doesn't show alot of emotions on the court, but on the other hand, you can tell when he's having fun.  i'm telling you, whenever he sticks his tongue out...its a good indicator that he's playing his best ball.  and when he's having fun, he gets on a roll.  penetrating, dishing, fast breaking, hitting the three...

tongue out = bad news for opposing team   :P

Beasley finished the thing every time.  We don't have many guys that can do that.  Blake Young is one of the worst I've ever seen even a relatively uncontested layup you know he's going to miss.   Kind of sad too because he can get to the basket at will he just can't do anything once he gets there.

I've been waiting for this to happen all season.  It makes zero sense for Pullen to play any less than 30 min/gm at PG(unless he's in foul trouble), yet he's only eclipsed the 30 minute mark in five games all season, two in conference.  It's time to take the training wheels off and unleash the beast.  PG, 35 min/gm.

When he's running the fast break and you see him take a quick glance back, it's showtime.
You know Beas is going to run when he sees Pullen leading the break, Stew...not so much.

Was Stew the one that threw the sick one-handed ally oop to Beas or was that Pullen?  I thought it was Stew but I can't remember.

Shockingly, it was Stew.  Surgical precision on that pass.
Welcome back, Bill.

Yes, it wasn't on the fast break though, it was after a breakdown in their zone.

true, it was kinda on a broken play...but it was still an amazing look from stew.  pullen just knows how to draw the defenders and dish better than anyone.  he knows not to go too deep so its cluttered...but to go deep enough so beasley's man will have to help off of beasley.  jake has very hbbiq

the only thing missin with jake is...TATS!!

Pullen is extremely fast off the dribble, no surprise he can run the break.  Occasionally still gets too deep into the defense, but has continually gotten better.

And I don't mind Martin holding off on the Minutes at times.  I've seen plenty of FR wear down, especially with the way we are asked to defend.
