FWIW...

in games when KSU shoots >= 20 threes: 45 of 164 (27.4%) 4-3
in games when KSU shoots < 20 threes: 40 of 123 (32.5%) 6-1

while class was in session: 21 threes per game 48 of 189 (25.4%) 6-3
after finals: 19.6 threes per game 37 of 98 (37.8%) 4-1

Best 3 shooting in a loss 36% to Xavier
Worst 3 shooting in a win 18% to Western Ill

KSU has shot over 35% from three 5 times this season, 4 of those were in the last 5 games. In only one of those, did they shoot more than 19 shots (25 vs Xavier in a loss).

If you wanna win, just give the ball to Fred Brown.  He is the best player in the Big 12.

In other words:

45 of 164 in games where Blake Young doesn't get the quick hook
40 of 123 in games where Blake Young does get the quick hook
