Yeah, I was there and it was cool when they walked in.  The MHS student section later started chanting "Bring On the Cats" in their honor.

As far as Carmichael, there aren't many 6'-9" guys that are very smooth athletically or can get off the floor - he is good at both for his size.  He must have blocked at least 6 shots and is a pretty good rebounder.  With a redshirt year, 20-25 pounds of muscle, and some work on his offensive game, he could be a legit D1 inside guy - I would think a lot of programs would like to take such a gamble.

Back to the chanting:  it started funny but got ugly near the end when the MHS and JC kids started loud chants back and forth - the exchange went something like this:

MHS = "You Can't Beat Us!", clap clap, clap clap clap
JC = "What About Football?", . . .
MHS = "Scoreboard!, Scoreboard!" (pointing to the clock), . . .
JC = "42-7, 42-7" (referencing this year's football score), . . .
MHS = "We're Going to College!, We're Going to College!", . . .
JC = "Daddy's Money!, Daddy's Money!", . . .
MHS = "Who's Your Daddy?, Who's Your Daddy?", . . .

 :thumbsup:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

our rivalries in my school in JOCO is nothing compared to this, the best thing we come up with is "just like football...clap clap clap".
was in Junk town for a wrestling tourney couple weekends back, and Bobby f*cking Lashley was there, just watching.  that's probably the only cool thing about junction city.

I'm actually 3-0 lifetime against Lashley. Beat him twice in 8th grade and once in 10th. I even still have a wrestling bracket with him finishing 2nd on it in my garage. He was a really nice guy back in high school (no idea if he still is). FYI-He was barely 100 pounds as a freshman in high school.
