Flipping through bowl games/channels and wondering...

Can we learn anything from watching this game.  They are beating tech on New Years Day, on the verge of a 10 win season, and currently ranked top 10 in the nation.  Many of these guys were recruited by Prince correct?  (I have no idea, if any of this means anything at all btw.)

Another interesting note, Groh (or however you spell it) lost all of this assistants 2 years ago and has rebuilt a staff and team to be decent this year.  Does that mean that we should be patient and let things work out or does that mean that Prince was not that "important or critical" at VA anyway?

Finally, they just mentioned that VA has one a ton of close games this year... wouldn't that be nice as opposed to blowing the close games in the 4th quarter?

I've learned that Virginia plays excruciatingly boring football.  And Chris Long is good.

I learned that UVA's FBIQ shot up after unloading the deadweight from their coaching staff a couple of years ago.

Groh>Prince

but we knew that already.

Hey, we beat Texas twice. So we've got that.

Beating Texas in football is great, the question is why couldn't we play like that the rest of the year? This really upsets me. :banghead:

One thing I learned from watching the WV/OU game tonight is that it looks like we hired an assistant from the wrong "Virginia" two years ago.  :'(

QFT

You think he would have gone for some blackface so Weiser could sneak him by the BCA and keep his NCAA gig aspirations afloat?
