It actually makes sense.  He is trim, fashion conscious, probably "neat" as well.   Plus, South beach is very gay friendly, don't even have to drive all the way down to the Keys.  USC, UNC, UF...all very "open" communities. 

LSU is the head scratcher.  Might have made the final two just because of the "quality of their athletes."

However, he almost certainly can't be gay due to his elimination of ku at such an early stage of the recruitment.  He would have crushed ass at ku if he were gay...Butler surely would have counseled him on that fact.
