Isn't July the big month for the recruiting process.......I know there is a dead period like the from July 16-22 I believe.

We need to get them both to visit the campus.

Beasley was supposed to visit in July and he committed before his visit. He needs to bring those guys on the visit with him.

Personally I think this is all a big smoke screen. I think we are gonna get em all......and that's just not positive thinking. I really feel that it's in the works.

You know the recruiting has taken a major turn at KSU. That was then and this is now. Just sit back and enjoy. I think O j and Walker both sign at some point in time. But here is the hard cold facts. KSU has 2 of the highest rated recruite of all time in the fold now. If O J and Walker turned out to be no shows look at what Huggins has to recruit around. At this point it would be O J and Walkers loss! The tide has turned Ladies and Gentlemen and were not talking about Alabama!  I can't understand all the angst! The pieces of the puzzel are comming together. Just let it happen. Today was a great day for sports at KSU! Get use to it ! Football,Basketball and baseballl! Womens sports as well! :dancin: :dancin: :dancin: :dancin:

i agree.  just look at beasley.  "well, i'm looking at a whole bunch of schools now, i've opened up my commitment..."...BOOM!  KSU!

and we just have to remember that no other coach has even 1/100th of a relationship with mayo/walker that huggins has with them.  even pope is the same way.  i also think that once they saw beasley commit, they probably realized that the whole GRCOAT is getting serious, and it might be the best opportunity for them.

GRCOAT

and yes, huggins has lots of backups that are looking good.  for some reason, i just don't see pope commiting (pope + mayo = bad), so i hope huggins can pick up a top 100 point guard, along with mayo, walker, beasley, and blair/stewart.  mayo will only be here a year, so we would need somebody after him to pick up where he left off.  ksu would be the most attractive place for a pg imo.  get some PT with a super talented group and go for a hell of a ride your first year, and then take over the next year.

I think that the early commit by Beasley makes the GRCOAT a possibility.  Now the other players will see that we are for real in bringing in the top talent.  Beasley always seemed liek a lock to me but if he commited late I dont think we wouldve had a chance with walker or mayo.  I think we will get Blair, Beasley, Walker, and Pope and have to wait and see on Mayo.  I doubt Mayo comes here but without the Beasley commit early I think we wouldve had about no shot.  I hope he does come, but with Beasley and this class I'm not going to be too worried regardless.  Beasley is a huge success and more will come.

I've been saying all along that I don't see pope coming,  my money is on oj and walker committing.  Huggins has known them since like 7th grade.  I think they will stay loyal to him.
