Other than Ron Prince (LOL! right?)

I say Tibs, Latimore, and McCarty.

I doubt we'll see much changes, you can't win a horse race with a retarded mule.

McCarty and Lattimore, maybe.  I can't see Tibs going; 3 DC's in 3 years?  It would be just another sign that it's the beginning of the end.

I say we get a new defensive coordinator every year until something works.

This time I suggest us NOT finding a gadget defense coach.

I doubt Tibs would take a demotion back to special teams coordinator.  So if a change would be made, I'd say to get rid of Mo and get a DL coach who can be a co-DC.  Getting another DC might just push us back even further.  And realistically, looking at the players coming back, it won't matter if we're in a 3-4 or a 4-3, we're going to suck something awful next year.

IMO, the 3-4 is not a bad system, but it requires unique talents at both DL and LB, and finding those unique players through recruiting (and then assimilating them into a unique system) is much more difficult than recruiting and teaching the 4-3.

It's always rough implementing a new system, see offense last year.

We just don't have defensive personell period, our dline is thin and they are showing all kinds of signs of being fatigued.  Yesterday on pretty much every passing down they were just standing up, no drives, rips, swims, anything.

Recruiting can fix it, pass defense starts up front as does run defense, our dline is killing us.

We really need one more juco DT.  I wouldn't count on one guy panning out, but having two gives us a good shot of having at least one of them being decent.

I don't even want to talk about DE recruiting. :crybaby:

I agree that recruiting can fix things, but (1) imo, recruiting to the 3-4 is more difficult than to the 4-3 (2) to get it fixed immediately we'll have to go JUCO, but they seem to take 2 years to get going (at least the sucky ones we get) and (3) practically the entire DL is Prince recruits, so that's not a good sign for future recruiting.
