...but this will not be accepted.

We just got beat by an inferior, but improving Iowa St. team. Bad, but I can deal.

Next comes Nebraska, soon to be without a coach, losers of 5 straight.

They were waxed LAST WEEK by ku, giving up the most points EVER.

OK... so we play them, and we give up the most points since the '70s... the worse loss since Futility U era?

I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. The lack of heart, discipline, coaching and effort is completely unacceptable. There are no excuses. If this team does not feel devestated right now, they are not worthy to be called Wildcats.
Bill Snyder gave Kansas State a vision, the belief that we could achieve, win, and be more than anyone expected. Get better every day. If there's one thing you could count on, our team would play with heart and passion.
If we get spanked because we played our guts out and the other team was far and away more talented or lucky, then we take our licks and move on. When we get spanked because we are unprepared, undisciplined, and uninspired, there MUST be consequences. Such play is a disservice to the greatest turnaround in CFB history and the greatest coach of the 20th century.

I can deal with a loss, however the way we lost today must not be tolerated. Not unless we expect no more than the teams, fans, players and coaches in the 80s, 70s, etc. etc.

I think Wefald and Weiser will give Prince some time (don't know how much). I think Prince is a really "good guy" -- as was Wooly. However, not giving 100% and laying down against a team on the ropes, and PARTICULARLY Nebraska cannot be accepted. This is NOT what Snyder drug us out from the crap-pit to do.

Prince must take responsibility for this loss (the way we lost) directly on his shoulders and do a little soul-searching about what it means to be the man to follow Snyder -- and if not then he should be called out for it. Will it happen? I don't know. I hope so.
