Lotsa differences and such from last year.  What I'm really interested in is how effective the 3-4 is at stopping the spread.  If I remember right that's one of the reasons Prince gave for the switch.

We'll keep the score close if Mastrud greases up his hands again...but we're 14-17 points better than Baylor at home before the game starts. It's up to Kstate to focus, play crisp, and find some answers in special teams coverage.

They put him in the game and he immediately turned the ball over.  It isn't like they weren't trying to get him reps.  You can argue they should've thrown him back out there, but he went 1-3 for 8 yards and a fumble for a turnover.  I think the plan is to do everything we can to keep Coffman off the field.  Because the evidence is in on his competency.

i'm not saying let him get get 20 snaps at the end of the game - i'm saying let him throw a respectable amount of whatever snaps he gets.  that fumble was on a weird QB sneak play.  if we got our lower string RBs in there with him, then by all means, hand the ball off.  but we still got JJ and LP out there so what good does it do to get them the ball some more?  they don't need the reps.

Trey..why the &@#% would we have him throw the ball?  It stops the clock if he misses and there's a chance he could throw an interception and let the opponent back in the game.

To develop him?  Why?  Freeman's only a soph.  And that's what practice is for anyways, not games.  Besides, I don't think Carson will be a starter in any game throughout his college career.  There's a reason he was a borderline D-1 prospect.  He's a career backup at best.
