Mr. Martin speaks!

Melvis Wooten of Crockett, former Crockett High School All American basketball player, was all smiles when he told me about his son and his new job. Wooten’s son is Cartier Martin, who stars in basketball for Kansas State University. Wooten said Cartier has a new coach who is expected to let the 6 foot 8 Martin utilize his talents to the fullest.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
