The Chiefs agreed to contract terms with two more draft picks, third-round defensive tackle Tank Tyler and sixth-round offensive lineman Herb Taylor.

The agent for each player said his client agreed to terms of a three-year contract.

Still without agreements were first-round wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, second-round defensive lineman Turk McBride and fifth-round kicker Justin Medlock.

The Chiefs also continued to work on a contract extension for running back Larry Johnson. The sides were still far from an agreement, making Johnson unlikely to be with the Chiefs on Thursday when they leave for training camp in River Falls, Wis., or Friday, when they will practice for the first time.

The Chiefs previously signed two of their seven draft picks, fifth-round running back Kolby Smith and seventh-round tight end Michael Allan.

Add Priest Holmes to the list.

Does anyone else think it's strange we haven't heard anything on his front yet? With LJ set to hold out, wouldn't this be a perfect time for Priest to come back and give Carl Peterson some much needed leverage? I just don't think Priest is going to leave his money on the table. He'll be back for another year, provided he's definitely cleared to play.
