I was just curious how successful a midnight madness might be.  The spring game was a huge success and I was wondering if that support might transfer to basketball or if might take Huggins a couple of years to get some momentum going.  Also, if anyone has any ideas of what would make a Midnight Madness really good feel free to post opinions.

Hugs had one at UC most years.  I t drew 6-8k.

ESPN televised it two years, and local TV did as well, along with live radio.

I think it would be great at KSU.

There is ZERO way I would attend an event on par with ku's "Late Nite."  That crap is pathetic.

If they have two captians on the team pick teams and play a game, with a dunk contest or something I'd think about it.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Seriously, if we have a dunk contest, a short estro-cat scrimmage to appease the "non-Bubbas", followed by a short men's basketball practice and Huggins being a badass, that would be awesome.

If ku can fill their football stadium for Roy Williams we can do anything.   :beerchug:
