 THe Confusion!!!
Michael is VERY confused...As of this weekend he is torn between loyalty for friendship vs. his word. I just wish that everyone would give him space. Stop throwing questions at him when others are arround so that he doesn't have to feel obligated to answer in certain ways. This whole thing is a complete mess. The recruiting game is not fun or honest as I am now beginning to see. I know that there are some very dishonest people who have contacted my son since all of this has begun. Michael needs nothing but time to think this whole thing thru. Also keep in mind that reporters only use the partial interviews when writing there stories... I believe that the editor of the newpaper quote from AK should have not published that very confusing article. When I talked with this morning at 630am (AK time) he said that the reporter left aout some things and said twisted things once again... I'm so tired of all of this. Mike just needs to play without this pressure. Anyway, that's just my $.02.

I'm confused.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Wow, sounds like she's trying to get an AAU assistant (!) coach hired at Charlotte.

who knows?

maybe waiting for van exel to retire?  doesn't seem right though.  i would think he would start off as a grad assist or a DoBO.

D.B will be our DOBO.

Nick Van Exel would be excellent. More press.

He would be our towel boy, like ku has shamefully made Danny Manning.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Sounds like his mom is the one confusing him. He wants to go to Kstate, she wants him to honor his word to Charlotte.

If he doesn't go to KSU, you can thank her.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Moms have a way of doing that.  I'll never understand why parents feel they need to clear the air by making public statements (let alone posting stuff like that on a message board).  I can understand why they want to have a great deal of influence over their kid's decision.  I don't always agree with it, but I can understand it.  They should, however, be able to exert this influence behind closed doors.

KLM is still the best, though.

I guess if we get Beaz, we may get MBM, too.  Somebody should go invite her to post over here and learn more about KSU...   ;)

I agree, likely sock.  Notice in the poster's profile that he/she once made a post on phog.net that has since been erased.

Nice 5 page thread on Huggins to WVU on phog as well.

Interesting.  I guess not all that surprising, though, unfortunately.

History of posting at UNCC's site, too, right?

There were only 4 posts (3 from KStateFans, 1 from Phog) in the "recent posts" part of the profile, but now the "recent posts" part of the profile has been made private.  Hmmmm.

Let's put it this way - Charlotte (Charlotte!) was in position to land the No. 2 player in the Class of 2007.

As another of my sources said, "There's no way in hell Charlotte should be in position to get the No. 2 player in  the country."

The point is, he committed to Charlotte because of Dalonte Hill, plain and simple. He has said as much.

Hill is now at K-State. Wonder where Beasley will end up...

How old was Beasley when he committed to Charlotte?  I've heard anywhere from 8th grade to sophomore year.

Beasely is a KSU lock...but will this hurt, or help bringing in other talent such as Mayo,Walker, or Pope?  I've heard conflicting reports...

Q: If Beasely is a KSU lock, does that hurt or hinder the chances of landing Mayo and/or Walker?
