    I am gigantically huge.
C'mon.    MB has maybe the talent of Durant but none of his discipline.   KD was one of the more fundamentally sound freshman in recent memory.   MB will be good but you guys should check your expectations.

Please explain...KD was far from fundamentally sound much of the time. He regularly threw up crazy shots, wildly drove to the hoop, and often looked uncoordinated, though it did work for him.

Mike is completely filled out, has beautiful touch like KD, and can probably body up almost anyone in the country with his quick moves and fadeaway.

I'm not taking away from how good KD really was/is. He was unbelievable, but from what I've seen/heard Mike is all that and maybe more.

If I'm wrong I'll eat every word of it, but I can't f*cking wait for this season.  :)

Kevin Durant was one of the best freshman players in the history of NCAA basketball.  It is unlikely MB will be that good. Still, if he is one of the best freshman players this year, he will make a big splash at K-State.

I think what is not discussed enough about Durant was his length. I don't know his wingspan but it was long even for his heighth.  He got a ton of rebounds even though blocked out because of this.

I certainly hope Beasley is as good, but I doubt that he will be quite that good.

This just keeps getting better.  KSU fans are too funny we they talk basketball.

Can't wait until I see the first KSU = Big 12 Champions thread.

The first time I ever saw Mike in real life, and I'm sure some of you were there also, was about 10min after they opened the gate for the game with kadji's team. He walks out to half court, grabs a ball off the rack, and takes a regular jump shot like someone would from about 14 ft. Nothing but net.

He's for real.

QFT.  Michael Beasley can't play against other basketball players.  (Unless they're scrubs like the guys he played against in the Mcdonalds All American game.)

Lebron James has a thick body that allows him to overpower players. KSU needs a bigger man down low. I feel Beasley will be a better rebounder than Durant, which KSU needs desperately. Beasley may not score as much but he will rebound more.

That was sweet.  He was standing on the powercat close to the sideline.  He looked more surprised than the fans did.  Then he it another nutsy one like that 10min. later.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

Nobody compares to Kevin Durant.  He is freakishly skinny, incredibly weak and surprisingly slow with an unreal wingspan, unlimited range and an incredible knack for the game.

That is nothing like Michael Beasley - except for maybe the last two things.
