As an NU fan, I thought Klein looked alright on film. Good touch on his passes, good mobility. Not a cannon arm but on film is pretty accurate. He seems to have a hitch in his throwing motion though and he obviously doesn't run an offense that requires him to be under center. Both things he'll have to adjust to in the college game. He looks like a kid that would be a good manager of your system.
That is what I saw...nothing special. But QB isn't so much about the strong arm or whatever...it's accuracy, leadership, and smarts. I will be curious to see the reaction from coaches and some of the rivals people who watch him at the Boulder event. Sometimes film doesn't give as good of a feel for a kid's tools as seeing them in person.
Rivals can put him where they want...I really don't care. The main thing is that Gabbert was the qb our coaches wanted the most, he has some great qualities, and he is willing to come in and work. He has a good attitude, and if he works hard I think he
could be a great quarterback for us in a few years.
Right now I'm actually more excited for Patrick Witt, and Rivals only gave him three stars. Keith Williams, the redshirt freshman offensive guard of ours who was tearing it up in practice and is a likely starter...he too was three stars.
Harrision Beck and David Horne were both hyped four star players, and neither one of them ever did a damn thing.

Recruiting is so hit and miss. This Klein kid you are bringing in could be awesome. I would trust the judgment of your coaches over Rivals. Unless I'm mistaken, the analysts on Rivals weren't college coaches, and they seem to always undervalue midwestern kids.
