So what's the point you keep desperately trying to make? I can give you a quote from Keith Williams HS coach that says he was better at the same age than your beloved former Wildcat and NFLer Barrett Brooks.

If you're trying to say that recruiting analysts miss the boat from time to time, you're absolutely right. Williams was a 3 star player and right now he'll likely be a 3 year starter and a future first round NFL pick. That to me, means he should have been 5 stars coming out of HS.

Hell, Jared Crick was just some average Nebraska defensive end to most recruiting services because they don't even know where Cozad, NE is located. When he went down to the East-West All-American game in January and tore a new ass into several highly touted Texas OL signees, nobody from Rivals was out bumping his stars up.

I think your recruiting is going fine. What posts from us are you reacting to?

Also, why is scout our bible? I think scout sucks and I only use rivals.

S. Parker....scouts, inc. is not the same as scout.com.

Maxell, no reason to get hostile as you were pumping scouts, inc. just a few days ago.  I posted scouts, inc. opinions on a few Wildcats in comparison to where some Nubb recruits were graded by them...that okay  w/ you?

I happen to agree w/ you about Williams from seeing him in your spring game.  I don't know that I would buy into the stuff about Barrett Brooks just yet...Brooks was a 4 year starter, 2 time all-Big 8, 2nd round draft pick, and I think he's still in the NFL.  Let's hold off on the comparisons just yet.  I know there is some coach speak like the Wichita Northwest coach just called Harper a better athlete than Kamerion Wimbley...that may or may not be true but truth is Wimbley played a lot of ball down at FSU and was a mid-first rounder.

This kid has all the tools to be as good as we've seen up at Nebraska. He's got the nasty attitude, the size, strength, tenacity, work ethic and most important-the coaching. You give this kid three years of being taught by the guy who built the Wisconsin pipelines and was maybe the best OL position coach in the NFL during his tenure and Williams is in a great position to be the next great OL at Nebraska. I have no questions after what I saw during the spring. He's the real deal. 15th rated player in Missouri coming out of HS

I haven't been paying attention to your recruiting this year, so I went and looked:

Cooper Bassett
Brayden Burriss
Logan Dold
Joseph Kassavanoid
Colin Klein

Your last class filled your needs really well and gave you a lot of speed, and this is a great start for this year. You locked up most of your in-state talent, and I would love to have that Bassett kid because our own tight end situation leaves a lot to be desired.

Your quarterback situation confuses me a little because you already have two--who could be good--but it seems like you are involved with a lot of other guys still. And didn't you go after that Pick qb from Kansas too? And then there is Blackman, Luck, and Harper too, right?

And as usual, they'll miss the boat on several prospects for both Nebraska and KSU. As will Rivals, Scout, Lemming, Emfinger etc. I mean Niles Paul the #48 receiver in the country is just plain stupid. At the Army AA game he was widely considered the 2nd best WR on the West behind Terrance Tolliver. I've talked to enough people that would know that are involved in scouting at all levels of football that say Niles Paul was one of the top 20 players in the country-at any position.

I have no clue waht madspinner is doing.  he has found some 3rd rate recruiting service and keeps going. see see look at that.  if you want to think your recruits are as good as nebraska that is fine and dandy.
