according to the Nubb bible of recruiting evals, scouts, inc., Woods would have been the 3rd highest rated prospect in Nubb's class if he had signed w/ Nebraska. He was given a grade of 78...Nebraska had two 79's as tops and then a few 78's. Lamark was a 79 btw.
Oh and lol at rivals for giving ku's Murphy 4 stars. According to scouts, inc.(if you trust them) the two are not even comparable. Woods = 78 and 4 star Murphy = 67.

Woods Eval: This kid is an absolute blazer and while he is an explosive scatback with gamebreaking speed, he is also undersized and has all the makings of a man-to-man-cover corner. Ar running back, he is shifty and elusive. If he its a seam, he's gone--even against the fastest of competition. Is a quick, athletic and versatile back. Has great fluidity in his hips and extremely quick feet. Runs with a great center of gravity. Low, forward shoulder lean. Shows balance and body control. Is quick when changing directions and hitting the opening crease. He shows great vision and the ability to stop-and-start on a dime when he sees something open up. He is very elusive and will make defenders miss in space on a consistent basis. He runs hard for his size and isn?t afraid to ?hit it up? inside. Unfortunately, he isn't very big which is why he could end up on defense. It will be tough to keep his production on offense off the field. he could be a nightmare returning kicks as well. Sleeper with great upside to be a playmaker.
Lamark eval: This kid is a load as a safety and running back, but he could end up at either outside linebacker or wide receiver as well at the next level. He has tremendous size, strength and speed. He is not a natural running back, but they want the ball in his hands as often as possible. Shows very good power at the point of attack and will run through defenders that don?t break down and wrap up. Shows good initial burst and enough of a second-gear for a bigger back. He has impressive body control and will be able to plant-and-pivot quickly enough to hit the cutback lane. On defense, he is at his best defending the run. Fills hard from the high point and takes decent angles in pursuit. Has room to improve as a tackler, but shows good power and is adequate at wrapping up in space. He has the size and strength to match up ?in the box?. Does a good job of using his hands to sift through traffic. Pursuit speed is impressive. He also has very good ball skills in coverage. Shows adequate range underneath and has the speed to improve his range with more experience and better diagnostic skills. Overall, Brown is rangy and athletic and you take him regardless of knowing where he is going to play. Impressive prospect.
