The big 12 Conference has not had a consistant winning tradition since Brian Bosworth played for Oklahomo Sooners.  Yeah Texas has been good, but Oklahomo, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahomo State among others have traditionally in the past 10 years been subpar.  The Big East on the other hand has been successful with the likes of Miami, VA Tech, BC, WVU, PITT, Rugters, and Louisville.  The Big East is the best FB conference in America.  The big 12 is probably the 4th best in FB.  In BB the big East would rank probably currently rank a 3.  While the big 12 would be a 5 with me.

Just an opinion and as you know everyone gots one.  NEXT..............................

I hate Oklahoma, just like every other purple blooded K-State fan, but I must say that in the past 10 years, Oklahoma has won four Big 12 Championships and one national championship. Nebraska hasn't been up to par in relation to how they normally perform, but have been above par in comparison to conference. Nebraska has still finished the season ranked 7 out of the last 10 years. And remember than the cornholes did win the National Championship ten seasons ago in 1997.

Hate both of the teams, but you can't really claim that they have been sub par. (You can make than claim for Oklahoma for the couple years before 1999). Oh, and Arkansas isn't in the conference, although I would trade them for baylor any day of the week.
