    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Crabby's sources say Bassett should be pretty good, but he hasn't evaluated him yet.

Cooper Bassett, a 6'5" 235 lbs TE, is ours. He was also considering LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Tulsa and Kansas. :ksu:

Congrats on him. He was a guy who was just starting to get attention. I think if he hadn't committed his offers would have shot up soon.

Will he stick at tight end or move to defensive end?  We need both.

regardless of whether bassett plays offense or defense, you (read: Prince) tell ladner that bassett will be playing defense...

doubt it will matter much...Pinchback, if he qualifies, is likely headed to the OL as he weighed near 280 when he visited.  And we lose two TE's to graduation after this season.

So that leaves Mastrud, Alstatt, and Mack.  Mastrud is slow, Alstatt will only have one year of eligibility left when the '08 class arrives, and Mack...who knows if he can gain the weight.
