    The very best.
I have a good one.  Remember I think it was 2002 when we were playing aTm here.  We had like 3 fumbles and spotted them 21 points.  We made a furious comeback, and then with I think 5 seconds left we were on about the 3 yard line and we tried an option.  I can't remember who the RB was, I just remember that he came up about 6 inches short and then the time ran out.  I'm not sure I have all the details right, but I know I felt like crap after that play.

2001. Scobey ran the wrong way.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Colorado long pass for TD to go ahead of the Cats in 1995.  Cats had just had a tremedously gutty drive to take the lead in the last 5 minutes.  CU scored in a couple of plays, the TD coming on a long pass over the top.  Cats followed that up by snapping the ball into the endzone which CU pounced on for another score.  Buffs 27 - Cats 17.

God that one pissed me off and stuck with me a long time.  I still cringe to this very day when I see CU running anything resembling a 2-minute offense.  I remember Rick Neuheisel running to the corner jumping and hollering to celebrate with the visiting CU fans after that.  God there have been a lot of bad KSU memories...

But there have been some good memories too.  That CU team in 95 was loaded!  Slash at QB, Salaam @ RB, Rae Carruth and Charles Johnson at WR.  We were lucky to be in that one, but it did suck.  CU was a tough hurdle to clear for Snyder, when he finally did it wasn't as great b/c they were playing Detmer and were not near as talented as prior years.

more info plz.

PI called on Cooper.  Ball was tipped.  With today's replay, it would've likely been overturned*.  :frown:

*Not necessarily the difference in the game, but a big play nonetheless.

I think Heupel's 4th down option keeper was the deflating play of that game.

I think Jared Cooper got called for a bs pass int. call on the ou tight end.  don't remember the exact scenario, but I do think it was a 3rd down play, extended a drive or may have been a td.

Called PI, on a clearly batted ball (replay showed it clear as day as the refs were discussing at midfield).  They allow it and OU scores a TD on the drive.

Jarred Brite getting the millionth kick of his career blocked against Texas in 02 after driving well within range.

Jarred Brite getting a punt blocked in the endzone against texas when mo mack decided to nudge his guy and brite decided to take 3 steps before trying to kick it.

Jarred Brite against OSU in Fiesta See above

Any play from 02 CU.

The 04 CU game was horrid.  Ruined the most gutty performance by D-Meier.

What a hard-fought game.  The crowd was wild and loud.  Those last 5 minutes I was as high as can be, then completely smashed.  Wasn't one of their touchdown passes a tipped overthrow that found a deeper receiver all alone, or was that a different year?  Also, didn't we run some sort of flea-flicker wild ass play to get a first down late in that one?  God I hated weisel.

Yeah, QB throwback to Matt Miller for the first down on 4th down around midfield.  No way I thought we'd lose after we took the lead, then CU scored in 3 or 4 plays.

For me it was more for personal reasons.  CU '05 Moreira fumble on punt return.  That was a week after I got home from Iraq and all I wanted was to see a Cat win.  Thought we had it too.   :frown:

For all you picking the moreira fumble, it's probably because you weren't in attendance for the CU hail mary in 2004. That was MUCH MUCH worse.

Living out here in Colorado I listened to that game on CU Radio.  It's tough being so pissed off and listening to radio voices that are so ecstatic.  The North has really sucked when KSU can win 2 conf. games and take the North winner to the wire on the road.  There was not much of a gap between 6 and 1 the last 3 years.

That 1995 CU game was the very first K-State football game i've ever attended...needless to say it started my now strong hatred for anything that is the university of colorado....

and that 2004 bull@#%$ hail mary pisses me off too!  :curse:

Really bad one for me was the KSU @ OU game in 2001.  I was at that game, and it was a great comeback on the part of KSU, but the ending really sucked.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think OU had the ball deep in their own territory on 4th down with over a minute left.  So instead of punting, they take the intentional safety to maintain the one point lead.  But before that occurred, the refs took FOREVER to spot the damn ball while the clock ran, and I think it cost K-State about 25 seconds of time because of that.  Once we got the ball back, there was no time to get in position for the winning field goal.  First road game I ever attended, saw College Gameday up close, but in the end had to endure jeers from some rednecks yelling "skin the cats" and got a horrible sunburn out of the deal.

There were several things in that game a person could look at that could have swung the game the other direction.  For instance, Gramatica missed a field goal in the first half which he normally would have hit.  Also, the D let them score the go-ahead two point conversion allowing A&M to tie the game in the 4th quarter.  Lots of dumb penalties as well.  But I guess the fumble and Sir Parker are the two most memorable things about it.

Was there, and could not agree more. :banghead:

Also in 2002, the Texas @ KSU game. It was 14-17 Texas and we had a chance to tie the game at the end with a field goal and it was blocked. :banghead:

Two things.  Lockett landed well out of bounds but it was hard to see with the way the endzone was painted.  Also, in college the reciever can be pushed out of bounds and it is incomplete.  In fact you could catch a reciever in the middle of the field and carry him to the sideline, throw him out of bounds and it would be incomplete.  I am so sick of hearing people complain for the last 20 years about the Cotton bowl our team didn't show up for.
