Jayhawks have been travelling on a devilish path

Bill Self regrets that his University of Illinois basketball program committed 20 … violations in his 3 years as Illini coach.

Of the 14 violations that involved recruiting…

Bill laughed, “Everybody's got those, but not all of 'em are in the paper.”

Bill also stated, "The situation at Illinois, to be honest, I'm kind of proud,” as if to brag on his 6 violations per year.

Bill Self should enjoy his time ant Kansas University, which is now currently on probation for things such as a graduate assistant providing test answers to two prospective junior college transfers who were taking a correspondence course exam in his dorm room and  three representatives of the University's athletic interests provided cash and clothing to graduating players who had exhausted their eligibility.

Shortly after being hired as ku’s head means basketball coach, Self has already had to answer three charges of wrongdoing with his new program.

Bill Self might laugh those off too, but not since Myron Piggie has this area seen such disregard for ethical integrity.  Kansas University has been travelling on a devilish path by hiring a coach who continually seems to break the rules. Will Bill Self ever learn to play it straight? History seems to infer that he won't.

What can you say? Once you get that winning taste in your mouth, you will do anything to keep it. Roy Williams may have left, but Kansas University powers are not ready for the ride to end. The ride goes on. Where it’s going — and how long before it hits a brick wall — is anybody’s guess.

The KC star also took it pretty easy on Lack of Instiutional Control Universtiy come to think of it.

Did Whitlock say ANYTHING negative about ku during that time period? Nothing as scathing as the bullcrap he came up with last week.
