Cartier Martin turned heads last weekend at the Portsmouth (Va.) Invitational Tournament, a pre-NBA Draft showcase for college seniors viewed as fringe prospects. According to SI.com, Martin was one of the tourney's few standouts, recording a pair of 18-point games. His team finished third, and in the PIT finale, Martin asserted himself on the block and on the perimeter. "His offensive skills will earn Martin a living playing professional basketball," the article said.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

YMCA ball isn't professional.  Either the article is wrong or *gasp* Bob lied to us

Cartier Martin – The problem with Martin for most of the camp was his inability to keep playing at a high level. Often you would see flashes such as a nice lay-up between defenders, a turnaround jumper, athleticism and aggressiveness that are a premium for a 6-7 forward. After that he left you wondering about focus and his ability to play at a consistently high level. It wouldn’t come as a shock if Martin gets an invite to Orlando, the question is which Martin comes to camp and plays?
