If you guys are wondering about Dalonte Hill let me tell you why I'm 99% sure we will give him what he wants.  Weiser and Wefald are extremely pissed off and realize Dalonte is the only way we retain the recruits.  Now, if that wasn't enough for them to offer him immediately lets ponder this.  You can no longer limit players on where they can go if they grant them a release and they would do anything to keep those players from playing under Huggins.  I know they are playing hardball about the releases but most of us know that will have to happen if they push it hard enough down the line after we hire a coach.  I would rather see Dalonte as a head assistant so he will have more time on the recruiting trail but my point remains, he is in line for a very sweet deal either way.

If they can work it out I do believe they will keep them both, Frank as head coach, dalonte as head assistant, and give Underwood some props too, not only because they are qualified but because they don't want Huggins to take anything more from this University.

Those are just my thoughts, possibly wrong, possibly bias, but I do have faith that they will do whatever it takes to win, and screw over that piece of crap now residing on the east coast.

I guess that's fine...as long as they make Dalonte sign a 3-4 year deal that states that if he leaves we castrate him.

Give Hill a high salary for an assistant and a ludicrous buyout clause to avoid having him hired away for a hundred thousand more than we're willing to pay.

I think while the wallets open they will get great contracts and one that protects the university.  I know I sound like a bad quote from Weiser but these guys are ready to get their shot and they do deserve it, I really hope it works out.

I'm very worried that we won't really nail Hill down.  Every program in the country with an open 'ship is going to make a run at him.

We can't forget about locking down Greenwalt. He is one of the best strength coaches in the US.

On the othr hand, which coach was it that was close to DeMarcus Cousins?

That's Eric Marten, I don't see us keeping him and Greenwalt will probably go with Huggins as well.  But who knows, like I said, the wallet is open at this point and they may just start spending.

This answers the question about how things will be screwed up.  It would be a disaster to both hire Frank and lose Hill.

    Gettin' angried up!!!
Is Huggins even allowed to speak to our recruits  now?  I was thinking after you signed a LOI that other schools were not allowed to recruit you anymore...maybe he'll keep Martin, Hill, etc around a few weeks to straighten out things with the Beas, Walker and the boys before they jump ship to WVU.  This would Huggs some time to open up schollies and coaching spots when he cleans out the WVU basketball program.

I would have to agree, that would be horrible.
