Title: Mark Teahen
Post by: catsfan20012002 on March 21, 2007, 01:31:10 PM
On Cold Pizza this morning they were talking about the baseball players that very few people have heard of that will have an impact in 2007. Buster Olney said that Teahen will have triple digits in RBI's.  :hope:

Will that get the Royals all the way up to 65 wins?

I'm hoping for around .500 so I'd like no fewer then 75 or 70 at the very least.

Maybe so but when you're the Royals you're not exactly going to get involved in the Roger Clemens Sweepstakes. Meche will be fine if he can keep up the K's like he did last year and can keep that ERA and those BB numbers down.

You also play in the toughest division in baseball.

Gary Sheffield.... Improving team chemistry since 1977.

And whats with Andrew Miller being demoted to Single A?  He pitched in post season as a first year pro and now he's demoted to bus rides with cheap hookers?

31 blown saves last year.  Dotel & co. won't reach 11 blown saves, that makes 20 games.

Ross Gload sb (3-3)
Gordon ripped double off the wall, RBI.  Get used to seeing this. (not so much Gload)

How many saves do you think Dotel will have this year?

He blows nearly 30% of his saves.

Seriously.

I'd give the over/under on saves at 21 and the ERA over/under at 2.50.  Blown saves over/under 7.

Save this and let me know where I stand.

If I remember I will I say 25-30 saves, meaning he stayed healthy and wasn't traded.  Having both occur is highly unlikely.  ERA will be higher than 2.50, when he gets hit he gets hit hard.

He had 36 saves two years ago with two different teams.  25 saves comined last two years.

are you counting last year?  he only threw 10 or so innings, with the Yankees, he wasn't a closer.
