Rusty,

He's a high character guy who commands respect.  He's played in the League for eight years and coached at that level for one.

You can question his time at WSU, but if you discount his time there, you have to discount a significant chunk of Morris' resume as well, and he's proven to be a more than adequite defensive coach. ( DC still remains to be seen)  Besides, Hackettthough enough of him to hire him, which is saying something. (and before you raise the point that Gruden didn't take him to 'TB, Grudenleft a lot of really good coaches on the beach when he took the job.  NFL teams have much larger coaching rosters)

Bonus question.  Who was Burn's coordinator at Tampa Bay?  Hint: Burns' is far from an unknown quantity to certain members of this staff.
