Title: ku's bracket
Post by: jmlynch1 on March 12, 2007, 02:22:45 PM
When looking at ku's bracket it appears that ku ranks 5th in "eliteness."

IMO, UCLA, Kentucky, Indiana and Duke are all more "elite" than ku.

Thoughts?

Duke is not.  Paulus is up and down, McRoberts is their only really good player

I think he's remarking about prestige. Yes and no. Duke has done more lately, but all time - meh, they've had a wonderful 1990s and early 2000s. More success than ku, but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

IU, UCLA, UNC, and Kentucky, I'd say ku ranks 5th amongst that group.

9 consecutive sweet 16's and 14 final fours and 3 NC's > 2 NC's and 12 final fours

9 consecutive sweet 16's and 14 final fours and 3 NC's > 2 NC's and 12 final fours

ku has shared a bunch of big 6 titles.

I saw no mention of "elite" in your link.
